Collage Maker
Two to nine photos in a clean layout. Drag photos between cells, tune gaps and corners, export up to 4K.
Nine photos, one story
A collage earns its place when one photo can't carry the moment — the before/during/after, the trip in six frames, the product from every angle. This maker keeps the craft decisions (which photos, what order) yours and automates the fiddly parts: photos are cover-fitted into each cell so nothing distorts, gaps stay mathematically even, and the whole grid exports as one crisp file up to 3840×3840 — enough to print around 30cm square at photo quality.
Layouts that cover the classics
- Pairs — side-by-side or stacked, the before/after workhorse.
- Strips — three or four in a row, photo-booth style.
- 1 + 2 feature — one hero image with two supporting shots.
- 2×2, 3×2, 3×3 grids — the Instagram-native looks.
Drop photos in any order and drag them between cells to rearrange — the swap happens live on the canvas. Then style the frame: tighten the gap to zero for a seamless mosaic, widen it with a white background for the gallery look, or round the corners and pick a background colour sampled from the photos themselves (the color picker is handy for that).
As always on this site, the collage is assembled in your browser's canvas, not on a server. Family photos stay on your device, the export carries no watermark, and there's no “premium layout” upsell — all of it is just free.
Common questions
Why do my photos get cropped in cells?
Cells cover-fit: each photo fills its cell completely, cropping overflow rather than distorting. Pick a layout whose cells roughly match your photos' orientation for minimal cropping.
Can I make non-square collages?
The canvas is square — the universal safe shape for social. Strips inside it include built-in matting; for custom shapes, crop the export with the crop tool.
